Te Vara Nui specialises in Receptions, but we can also organise your Ceremony *

Located just a 20 minute drive from the main town Avarua is Te Vara Nui Village - Rarotonga’s prestigious wedding venue - located in the vibrant and popular Muri Beach district.

Ceremonies: Be it beachside on stunning nearby Muri Beach or in lush tropical gardens comprising of picturesque waterfalls, cascades and gorgeous volcanic rock gardens with the biggest fresh water fish pond – Te Vara Nui Village is the idyllic picturesque setting for your Special Day.**

Receptions: Your day will stand out from the rest by inviting your guests to see our Spectacular Over Water Night Show - it will remain in everyone's hearts forever!

Depending on which day of the week you choose, will determine what options we can provide.
Te Vara Nui operates a cultural evening 3 nights per week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday nights.

Cultural Evening - You can choose to have your wedding on a Cultural Night…meaning you follow Island Night format….depending on numbers, you may have enough guests in your party to have your own private restaurant, or for a smaller group, you would be sharing a restaurant.

Non Cultural Evening (eg: Mon, Wed or Fri nights)
You can use Te Vara Nui as a venue and hire out 1, 2 or all 3 restaurants, on a non cultural night

If hiring the venue, you can custom build a package (eg: include our Spectacular Over Water Night Show…or a dance troupe, or fire dancers, or none (venue only with no entertainment)….you decide
Your own restaurant can be themed and decorated, giving the evening your personal flair

To help create your Dream Wedding with ease we offer professional event coordination from the first enquiry to the end of your Special Day. Whether you choose to hire our entire venue or one of our separate Ares, we can cater to your requirements.
