Wedding Venue Hire  (non Cultural Night - eg: Mon/Wed/Fri nights)

Whether a small or large wedding party, Te Vara Nui can cater up to 250 seated guests and up to 300 for cocktails with stunning views from every seat.

All “Are Kai” Restaurants provide a unique setting to enhance your special day. A series of delicious set menus, canapés and buffet style specialties are available (depending on you group sizes). Our Chef and  team are happy to create a special menu that will make your celebration a culinary delight.

To complete your wedding several dining entertainment options are available with each “Are Kai” Restaurant able to set up for speeches, DJ’s, live entertainment and dance floor.


Exclusive hire of one or all “Are” is for 5 hours from 4.30pm* and includes:

- Professional Wait and Bar staff to prepare food and beverages:

- White linen napkins

NB* While 4.30pm is the time which you have the venue, any ceremony organised by Te Vara Nui needs to be held much earlier in the day.

ARE VAI
Known as the waterfall restaurant, Are Vai can seat up to 25 - 50 guests. Surrounded by water Are Vai lives up to its name from the dramatic entrance crossing the pond to the cascading waterfall outlook. This fantastic venue also offers a large outdoor decking area...

Known as the waterfront restaurant, Are Moana can seat up to 75 guests with a minimum guest list of 55adults. Entering through the grand gates and surrounded by lush tropical gardens Are Moana sets the scene for a spectacular island wedding.

ARE ARIKI
The largest of our Restaurants, Are Ariki or the Royal Restaurant, can seat up to 120 guests (minimum 80). Provides a stunning view of the fire lit central stage and waterfall gardens.

This exotic island theme can be as colorful and or as subtle as you want and designed to enhance your tropical island wedding.

Package includes:
* Poles intricately platted with fresh coconut palm leaves
* Poles decorated and enhanced with assorted tropical flowers
* Candles to decorate your selected Are (restaurant)
* Head table clothed in white with palm leaves, candles, tropical flowers, loose flowers and petals
as well as wedding candles, table runner, and centre piece

* All other tables will have a palm leaf in the centre decorated with flowers

WHITE DREAM NZD$700 (per Restaurant)
This stunning white theme flows through your selected restaurant creating a beautiful dreamlike white wedding.

Package includes:
* Poles wrapped in soft white mull and enhanced by assorted exotic white flowers
* White candles with a tropical wreath and flowers to decorate your selected Are (restaurant)
* Head table clothed in white with white candles and tropical flowers surrounded by luscious palms and delicate petals
* Single chairs with white mull bows for the head table as well as wedding candles, table runner and centre piece
* All other tables will have a palm leaf in the centre decorated with flowers
